Sized in European, they fit very true to size in the length. Even though the toe is pointed, there is nothing seriously narrow about this boot. They are best suited for an average to slightly above-average width foot, and there is no option for adjustment in the instep.
Please note that this style can be quite fitted at the ankle, it really depends on your build. If ankle width has been a concern for you in the past, you may want to try this beauty on in person. As for circumference, the size 36 sample measures 9.5″ at a height of 5″. Of course, the circumference will increase slightly with each foot size.
